HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT BI & DASHBOARD SOLUTIONS

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our BI & Dashboard solutions devision. You would be a hands on BI & Dashboard solutions person. It is a MUST that you would have developed similar solutions before and have a through understanding and experience developing Enterprise Datawarehouses with Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL), Datmarts, Cubes, Data Minig and Data Analysis, MDX and on BI Presentation tools.

Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 including; SQL Server Integration Services (for ETL), Strong Experience in configuring and building SQL Server Analysis Server Cubes, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), T-SQL Programming, Multi Dimensional Expressions, Solid understanding on object oriented desing, Strong skills in .NET programming, and Windows presentation foundationa and Silverlight are definitely an advantage.

You MUST have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands on experience. We expect you to be a good communicator, an independent thinker whilst being a team player. You would have a Degree preferably from a local University and be willing to travel overseas on short notice.

APPLICATION CONSULTANT: Finance & Distribution ERP

The preferred candidate would be expected to work with top corporate clients providing consultancy, implementation and support services. You would be part of our Project Implementation Team. You would be CIMA fully or intermediate level qualified (equivalent finance qualification) or A Graduates in Computer Science with 5 years experience in a similar capacity with a leading software solutions company is a must. Excellent command of English Language and working knowledge of Sinhala. Candidates who have worked for end user companies and lead implementation of Finance & Distribution system would be considered for this position. You would get an opportunity to work with local as well as oversease customers from different industries and sharpen your domain knowledge in business process and systems. This is a senior staff position therefore prior exposure in a similar job roles is a must.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER: MS SharePoint

As senior Sharepoint Application Developer we are looking for individuals who have at least a minimum of 3 years experience developing Sharepoint Enterprise Solutions. You would have experience Developing and testing mission critical enterprise solutions and implementation of custom application development and selection using the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, BizTalk, Business Intelligence, SharePoint, Office 2007 and other advanced components of Microsoft technology. You are expected to collaborate with business representatives to clearly define and document business requirements You would typically have Advanced SharePoint 2007, W3.0, Web Part development, Understanding of the Publishing Feature, Experience in Visual Studio with WSP development, SharePoint designer, Custom Workflows, ASP.Net/C#,HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML, XSL web and desktop applications. A University Degree in Computer Science with 3+ years experience in a similar capacity with a leading software solutions company is a must.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER: ASP.Net

As a Trainee ASP.NET Engineers we are looking for fresh graduates with Software/Engineering degrees. You would have a degree form a recognized university with basic knowledge of ASP.NET/C#, Java. Previous Development experience developing web and desktop based Large scale, enterprise software architecture using Microsoft C#, VB.Net, Winforms, ASP.Net would be a definite advantage. We are looking for self starters who are willing to learn with minimal hand holding and assistance. You would be given the opportunity to learn enterprise software development includes design, architecture, coding and project management. We expect you to be a good listener, communicator and a independent thinker whist being a team player.

APPLICATION SOFTWARE SUPPORT EXECUTIVE

The candidate we have in mind is expected to provide Customer Support Services for Application software. You would typically be a patient listener and intuitive problem solver with a passion for customer care. Ideally you will be a Higher Diploma holder in software engineering with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar capacity or worked for a FMCG Distributor or similar systems. Software development knowledge using COM+ / VB6, Crystal Reports and Microsoft SQL would be advantages. UI DESIGNER / DEVELOPER

We are looking for a talented User Interface Designer / Developer who will build user interface design concepts and prototypes for X-ONT’s next-generation of applications. Successful candidate will become a key members of a rapidly-expanding product usability team that is focused on deploying innovative products that maximize ease-of-use for a wide range of end-users. The UI Web Designer / Developer works on various project teams to build prototype user interface designs for usability testing, client review and sales demonstrations, as well as serve as a knowledge resource for the latest trends and technologies for web- and standards-based user interface development. You will work to actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of X-ONT applications in collaboration with X-ONT’s Product Managers, Development teams and Sales Consultants.

3+ years of experience in web design / development, with specific expertise in web-based application development. Fluency with web standards and technologies, including: CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, XUL, XAML. Knowledge of usability and coding practices for accessibility with a Strong web graphics production capability and practical experience with Flash, Visio and other mockup tools. You would use a creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional team. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter with keen attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering highly-polished web-based prototypes under tight time constraints.
