AWARDS WON BY X-ONT    
     

 

X-ONT SOFTWARE won two awards at the recently concluded 10th National Best Quality  Software  Awards  conducted by the British Computer Society.   X-ONT CellMagix, the Industry Specific CRM and Sales Force Automation Solution for The Mobile Telecom Prepaid Scratch Card/SIM Card & Top-Up Credit  Sales  & Distribution solution and Ornox Geoware  the web based Business  GIS  Solution.

Ornox Geoware won the Silver in the General Business Category in which Ornox Geoware was the only product to win an award whilst X-ONT CellMagix won the Bronze in the communications Category.

This is the 3rd time that X-ONT Software has won an award at the National Best Quality Software Awards, Fazeem Farook,  Managing Director of X-ONT Software accepting the awards says, ”this is indeed a great honor and an opportunity for X-ONT, this win signifies our development teams commitment to develop and deliver high quality solutions  to our valued customers and encourages us to continue to enhance our products and service offerings in the coming years”.

Ornox Geoware the first of its kind in the country has been nominated to represent Sri Lanka at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) scheduled to be held in Indonesia in November ’08. “We are determined to showcase  Sri Lanka and its ICT development capabilities to the world at APICTA ’08 by wining an award and bring credit to our nation” says Fazeem.

In 2005 X-ONT Software was awarded the Silver at the National Best Quality Software Awards for the implementation of X-ONT ContactPRO at The Cinnamon Grand Hotel. ContactPRO is a enterprise contact and event management solution designed to manage a large contact database with as much details as one would want to maintain of a particular individual. Information not only relating directly to an individual but all information that may be associated with an individual for E.G. his job designation, industry, interest groups, hobbies, details relating to spouse and associated information, children and associated information.

The solution is designed to making contact with the individual very simple and easy by way of a automated letters that can be sent out by email, fax or in print. Contact can be found or searched on the system by any description that may be relevant to the individual. You can call the contact by just clicking the number on the screen with no need to dial his numbers. The solution is integrated with a business card scanner so by just scanning a business card a record can be created for a new contact. A relationship can be build with a contact and an employee so at a glance its possible to see who in an organization has a relationship with a given contact or how many contacts does a given employee serve. This could really be helpful is there are thousands of contacts and one needs to send out letter or invitations with minimal effort within a short time.

This is the first time such a solution has been developed in Sri Lanka and is being used by any company successfully.

In recognition of the functional depth, technical excellence and quality of the solution delivered to Hemas Holdings Pte Ltd., X-ONT DistriPLUS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & FieldPRO Sales Force Automation (SFA) solution was awarded the Silver medal in Business category at the National Best Quality Software Awards 2003 conducted by the British Computer Society.

The Hemas Holdings implementation is truly unique as X-ONT integrated the Island wide distributed business process by integrating the entire distributor network of over 150 sales territories and 150 sales man into one information management system. Further the solution was later integrated with the back end SAP based corporate financial system to seamlessly work as one system.

Information that originates from the SAP (ERP) system would flow into X-ONT DistriPLUS server at the Hemas head office from there onto the X-ONT client system at the distributor and onto the X-ONT FieldPRO Palm OS based hand held units on the field. Similarly on the return leg daily field sales information is uploaded onto the distributor client as well as the head office X-ONT DistriPLUS server and onto the SAP system.

This is the first fully integrated redistribution solution in the country to be implemented by one single vendor.

X-ONT Software (then known as Exant Software .LK (Pvt) Ltd.,) was nominated to represent Sri Lanka at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand.
